Ischara is a passion project born from a deep desire to bridge the gap between elite education and talented individuals in the most remote corners of the world.
My journey began in India, where I studied Computer Science. From there, I ventured to Germany to pursue Business and Engineering, a transition that broadened my worldview and nurtured my passion for entrepreneurship. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to win multiple startup competitions across India and Germany, participate in international workshops and accelerator programs, and even secure funding for ventures in Germany.
These experiences naturally led me to mentoring roles, for the National Entrepreneurship Challenge at IIT Bombay in India, and in the FLIGHT Program by Startbahn27 in Germany. Through mentoring, I discovered a joy greater than winning any competition: the joy of giving back, of inspiring, and empowering others who, like me, just needed a door to open.
But I also saw the inequality. The disparity in access to resources, education, and networks. That’s why Ischara exists: to bridge this gap and make knowledge, mentorship, and entrepreneurial resources accessible to every student and budding entrepreneur, no matter where they’re from.
With Ischara, you won’t just learn startup terminology or design thinking concepts. You’ll gain confidence. You’ll get first-hand insights into international business. You’ll learn how startups are built, not just in metropolitan cities, but also in small towns across countries and cultures.
I am deeply passionate about social entrepreneurship: business that impact society, support the climate, and strengthen economies. I firmly believe that entrepreneurship holds the key to solving global challenges like unemployment and inequality, especially in developing countries. Through Ischara, I want to bring those tools, mindsets, and opportunities to you.
Welcome to Ischara. Let’s build something impactful together.
With love,
Ishita from Ischara 🤍
